Centenarian Skydives for Charity
Tom Rice, a 100-year-old World War II veteran, made a tandem skydive to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society. Rice, who served as a paratrooper during the war, said he wanted to do something "a little bit different" for his 100th birthday.
Rice's skydive was a success, and he raised over £10,000 for the Alzheimer's Society. He said he was "overwhelmed" by the support he received and thanked everyone who donated.
