Ada Lovelace: A Pioneer in Computing

Ada Lovelace was an English mathematician and writer who is considered the first computer programmer. She was born in 1815 to the poet Lord Byron and the mathematician Anne Isabella Noel Byron. In 1842, Lovelace wrote a paper describing an algorithm for the Analytical Engine, a mechanical computer designed by Charles Babbage.
